Multi-stage machine polishing that removes swirl marks, buffer trails, water spots, light scratches, and oxidation — restoring depth and clarity that rivals, and often surpasses, the factory finish. Available in Glendale Heights, IL, serving Carol Stream, Bloomingdale, Wheaton, and the Chicago suburbs.
1-Step Correction
From $399
Designed to enhance gloss, depth, and clarity while reducing light to moderate swirls and surface imperfections. Ideal for newer vehicles or paint that's been maintained well.
2-Step Correction
From $699
A more intensive correction process targeting deeper swirls, buffer trails, and imperfections. Significantly improves paint clarity, depth, and reflectivity — and is included with all ceramic coating packages.
We measure every panel with a paint depth gauge before we begin. This protects against over-cutting and documents your vehicle's paint integrity before and after.
Iron remover, clay bar, and a full wash create a perfectly clean surface. Any bonded contamination left on paint will cause micro-scratches during polishing — so this step isn't optional.
Using Rupes dual-action polishers and professional compounds, we work panel by panel under hex studio lighting. Each pass is inspected under multiple light angles before moving on.
A 3-month paint sealant is applied to protect the corrected surface. We then do a full under-light inspection and walk you through the results before delivery.
Our paint correction studio is at 2017 Bloomingdale Rd, Glendale Heights, IL. Clients bring their vehicles to us from across DuPage and Cook County for machine polishing, correction, and ceramic coating.
Paint correction removes defects that are in the clear coat layer — swirl marks, water spots, light scratches, oxidation, and haze. Deep scratches that penetrate through the clear coat to base coat or primer cannot be polished out and require touch-up paint or a body shop. We'll assess your paint before work begins and set accurate expectations.
A 1-step correction takes approximately 4–6 hours. A 2-step correction is typically a full day. Vehicle size, paint hardness, and defect severity all affect time. We'll give you an accurate estimate after the pre-service inspection.
1-step is ideal for vehicles with light swirling, haze, or mild oxidation — typically newer cars or well-maintained daily drivers. 2-step is recommended for heavier swirl marks, deeper marring, dealership polishing damage, or any vehicle being prepared for ceramic coating. If you're not sure, we'll inspect and recommend the right level at booking.
Yes — always. Ceramic coating locks in whatever the paint looks like underneath. If you apply a coating over swirl marks or oxidation, those defects are preserved under the coating for years. All of our ceramic coating packages include a 2-step paint correction for this reason.
